Unfortunately…
I thought I’d post one more time before taking a leave of absence from PI-Comic, so here it goes…
As most of the loyal followers of the site know, Von has been indisposed of since last April and I have been making an attempt to keep the ship afloat, but alas, I must also put the comic on the back burner so I can focus on my higher priorities. With that said, it is going to sad to turn away from something I have invested so much time and creativity (more time) into.
It is amazing to me that we have been going bi-weekly for nearly 13 months, that’s like 8 dog years. I am going to try to put content up on a not so regular basis, and even try a few new ideas if time allows me, but probably not as frequent and timely as we has been. I am happy to have done my first web endeavor and I have to say it has been a great experience. Big thanks to our fan, I mean fans. You know who you are and now you have to live with the pressure that comes with it. A bit of inside info: I, like Ace, am not the most compassionate or caring person on the planet, and when I read the feedback and reaction from our fans, both positive and negative, I like what we’ve done and how, in general, it has been received. That means some of your feedback made a difference, thanks for all of it. So with that in mind, thank you for stopping by, enjoy the archives and get back to work you douche bags!

Roger, The documents were originally sent to media a month before their public web release, and media did nothing. SILENCE. The subsequent appearance of the documents on public servers makes the conclusion of ‘whistle blower’ a no brainer. Having failed to inspire media to investigate, the guy had to publicly release the material or give up. whistleblowers being motivated by the desire to ‘do right’, he was not likely to give up. THank God.

Superb blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Cheers!

Hi Liga – glad you found inspiration in the book! I will try and reply with some ideas of how I would approach making a logo, and I have started to gather some old ones I’ve made on my wiki, but must add the rest… An interesting thing I heard recently is in relation to fonts used in logo, and how the font creator may have some copyright over logos in which their fonts are used…

I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

Man! It’s like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pictures to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is outstanding blog. A wonderful read. I’ll definitely revisit again.

Merci
