I do enjoy the way you have framed this particular difficulty plus it does provide me some fodder for consideration. Nonetheless, from what precisely I have personally seen, I just simply hope as other feed-back pack on that people stay on point and in no way start upon a soap box regarding some other news du jour. Still, thank you for this excellent piece and while I can not necessarily agree with it in totality, I value your standpoint.

there are no serious health risks in art. you can use ventilation when using white spirit but i don’t find it necessary. If in an art exam of something where alot of white spirit is in use then ventilation will stop the lightheadedness but you shouldn’t need when it is only you painting as you only need a small amount. .If you open the window when using hairspray then you may do the same for spraying fixatives as it is the same stuff in factct i just buy cheap hair spray and it works a treat. You don’t need gloves for pastels. .Your fine don’t worry

I think this is a lovely idea, and I definitely agree that we will be handling this issue differently and more prudently than it was handled when I was an adolescent! That said, I do feel the need to add a word of encouragement to all of you reading this who have not had positive dating experiences or even if you did have given too much of yourselves away to them before marriage. All this talk of “purity” should not be taken to mean that you are somehow permanently sullied. When you know better, you do better, and God can heal all wounds. There is evidence to suggest that an unthinking emphasis on abstinence only encourages teens to be unprepared for sexual situations. The rate of intercourse is just about the same for conservative christian teens as it is for the general population–the former put it off a few months longer but are less likely to use contraception. I worry that kids are being held to burdens that they aren’t helped to bear, and the courtship model is entirely worth holding up in instead of the “start dating when you are fifteen but don’t have sex” model which only leads to heartbreak. BUT, regardless of your past experiences, even if you chose to have sex or had it pushed on you unprepared or unwilling, God can heal.

The heart of your writing whilst appearing agreeable in the beginning, did not sit perfectly with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you managed to make me a believer unfortunately only for a very short while. I still have got a problem with your jumps in logic and you might do well to fill in all those breaks. When you can accomplish that, I would certainly be fascinated.
