This just saved me tons of time. I havent been able to import my psd into fireworks correctly without having all sorts of funny stuff happen with the layers etc.. but I can import my PNG into PSD but the layers get flattened, and I can deal with that, but the biggest thing I love about Fireworks was the auto select layer feature which you have show me here! Thank you so much!!!

Smriti, thanks for your interest and support. Unfortunately, we don’t have the infrastructure in India to accept contributions. Lifestraws are not available in Hyderabad, but the manufacturer has an office in New Delhi. They can only be purchased in bulk by organizations.

I see it differently. It isn’t: should we? We will. Singularity or not some us will we be cyborgs, some will stay in human ghettos. Some will use genetic engineering to become something new. Its happening now. Whatever evolves from us will need us — at least for a time — and like any shifting ecology everything in that system will change, or die. Evolution is chaotic. What makes you think you can control it, it that it would be wise to try?

Dear Mrs. Jansz. Would you publish similar articles about your school in the Sunday Leader without reservation? If you would, can the public give you some leads? Please indicate your “Alma Mater” and an assurance of publication to this mail by reply to this question. Perhaps there will be many who will volunteer horror stories about your own school. Why don’t you leave the schools alone?

One thing I would like to say is that often before buying more laptop memory, look at the machine in which it could well be installed. If the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, the memory limit is 3.25GB. The installation of in excess of this would merely constitute some sort of waste. Make certain that one’s mother board can handle this upgrade amount, as well. Good blog post.

Tim, My point was that while saying you’re “high” in English has been reserved largely for drug use, it’s not in Chinese. And I have never personally heard it used that way, although I’ve heard it used many other times in other contexts.
